Yup
Finally went to Singapore Polytechnic today, for orientation. Actually mine is supposed to start yesterday but most of my friends were in Business and theirs start today. So, I didn't bother to check and oh well...the first day was bullshit anyway, from what I've heard, just speeches and talks. My course's looking pretty OK, the people are friendly enough. The Angmoh guy in charge of our first lesson today was teaching us how to log in with our passwords and stuff...and it was...OK, I will just quote him.
"If you made any mistake and typed wrongly, just press backspace...yes...and type the correct one in."
ARGH, I'M IN CREATIVE MEDIA DESIGN, NOT COMPUTERS FOR RETARDS. OK, I should still take my course with a positive mindset despite Mr-Singapore-doesn't-have-computers-from-what-I-have-been-briefed-in-America.
alright alright, I will stop.
backspace..g.sgnisngnisni..
Then, there was the blackout...wow...Boon Lay has never looked more beautiful. The HDB blocks basking in the lights from Jurong Point, producing a very pretty pink hue on the white flats. There's also the fire from the Jurong factories which always burns but it's just tonight that I actually appreciated it. Oh yes, I climbed up 9 stories to get home, good exercise. Not like I won't be getting any tommorow, Jujitsu training again, it's on the grading test I will be taking in a week or so. Yeah, I better get that yellow belt.
