Now, this is the part where I pretend to be listening

Typically boring Sunday, so lazy to go anywhere. Found some random facts on an internet forum, they may not be 100% accurate, so do not quote me on these:

- Did you know the tiny country of Andorra (situated between France and Spain) had a 2003 defense budget of $4.90, and that was used for the country's independence celebration?

- The dot over the letter 'i' is called a tittle.

- That little plastic thing on the end of your shoelaces that nobody knows what it's called is called an 'aglet'.

- The metal ring that the (shoe)lace goes through is called a gromit.

- A sea cucumber, when scared, will throw up it's guts and grow new ones. (The mental image of this is pretty hilarious, "A LOBSTER, I WILL JUST *BLAAAUUURRRGGGGGH*")

- Movie theaters sell popcorn because they can make about 400% profit per serving, costing only pennies a bucket in raw material. Also, theaters make nearly all their money from the concession stand, the box office sales go directly to the studio. (not surprised)

There you go, useless facts that no one really cares about.

Argh, life is pretty bad now, Charmian is unhappy with me and I am just having PMS for no reason. Alright, see you all next time.

What the hell? You fucking suck la ok? I'm surfing the internet minding my own business and you just come messaging me "sian, entertain me" then I told you to find someone else to do that NICELY and you go all "oh i don't know you". FUCK OFF LA EUNICE CHONG. I have been finding an excuse to delete your numbers from my phone and block the living fuck out of you on msn. Thanks for giving me that oppurtunity. You're ridiculous.

Ooops, spent too much words on that cunt, let's talk about something else. Something happier.

Charmian and I went (rushed? a bit)  all the way to Liang Court (YES, FREAKING LIANG COURT OETJOAJR#I#$) because there's Sakae Sushi there and that branch is the only one offering buffet on Saturdays. So I took an extremely slow 157 (students boarding and alighting) to meet Charmian at her house's bus stop to take 970. It will be worth it, I'm hungry as hell now but it will be worth it later, I kept thinking. In case you don't know, Sakae's buffets are pretty fucking awesome, for about 15 bucks you get to order anything that's worth $1.90, including Cha(n?)wanmushi, Takoyaki (eh?) hamamkgugugusmlalbabala and the sushis of course, cool shit. Mmmm, so we arrived at Liang Court after a really long ride and we couldn't find the Sakae Sushi so we went to the counter and I asked, "Where's Sakae Sushi?"

"It closed down already."
"Wha-Erm, when did it close down?"
"A couple of days ago, renovation."

ARHJGFHFGOSHDOIHOSJFDJKLLALAFJLAJFLJADHGAGAGFGAFAGFADFM (no, not speaking in tongues, just really angry at that time). Anyway, we settled for the food court downstairs. The food wasn't bad, I ate Thai food. I was quite surprised Charmian wasn't affected much, she was complaining about how hungry she was on the bus, in fact she was quite happy. Must be the mood swings, except it works positively this time.

Then went over to Charmian's neighbourhood to play badminton and she was quite awful today, couldn't concentrate or something. Must be the mood swings, except it works to my advantage this time.

Except for the msn conversation, everything was pretty good today. And I love my Charmian. Mmmm.

Should be in school learning about Human Centered Design but my stomach was hurting pretty badly this morning and I had diarrohea since yesterday...must have been the mangoes I ate.

Alright, I'm OK now, going to meet Charmian later at Jurong Point to collect my trial pair of contacts. She sounds so wrecked because of school, how boring everything is. She has her interests in Accountancy but and so do I have interest in design but I won't be surprised if all these lectures suck the interest out of us by the end of the course. It's quite worrying, nodding off to sleep every few minutes while listening to the lecturer talk and it's even more worrying when you consider that my lectures are held in small classrooms or labs, and not lecture theatres, that should be easier for me to keep awake right? NO.

Back to the contact lenses, kind of looking forward to wearing them because it should be so much more comfortable. The lady at the opticians' told me my sinus problem may cause infection if I wear contact lenses. But, if I take good care of them, nothing should go wrong right? Then I took a look at the glasses, the Oakleys look awesome but the price tag was bordering on ridiculousity (or ridicule, I don't know). Then I spotted some similar-looking frames which are much much cheaper, that extra few hundred bucks for the brand? Is it worth it? And Oakley T-shirts look really bad, why do people like them so much?

This is kind of random but I think I will do a hate/love chart for clothing brands.

Hate:
- Hang Ten (Ugh, you get what you pay for, that's all I have to say)
- Giordano (If not for the "ME" t-shirts, Giordano would be pretty decent. I mean, the designers are just plainly sticking the big bright bold orange "ME" on ANY thing they can find and sell them, at least have some colour and design coordination, folks)
- Oakley (Their glasses look spiffy but their shirts are not, yucks)

Like:
- Actually the only brand that I really like is Atticus, too bad their stuff take ages to reach local shops, and even then, they are imitations but the quality is there, good enough.

Can't wait for that Queensway malay guy punk t-shirts shop to get some of these designs. Anyone know where else to get these shirts, please tell me.

That's all for today, Song of the day is "I'm Not OK (I Promise)" by My Chemical Romance.
