Now, this is the part where I pretend to be listening

Worjawohaoafhiophda haven't blogged in quite a while, been really busy with projects and assignments. That combined with subzero airconditioning in my design studio caused me to fall sick really really badly a couple of days ago. Worst case of fever I ever had for a few years, I think. Anyway, it's over now and only the blocked nose and sore throat still remains and it actually feels like heaven compared to how I felt a couple of days ago.

One of the assignments I have been rushing through is these 2 collages. Forgot to upload them on the net for you guys to see. Spent quite some time on them but I think a lot others spent more time. But the cool thing is that almost everyone seems happy doing this assignment. Liking what you do in school, the feeling is awesome. Sorry JC people, unless you are the kind who doesn't sleep in GP lessons and enjoy doing maths. Luckily I got out of SA and chose this course.

And it doesn't hurt to have an awesome bunch of people as classmates either. It's amazing how much laughter and stupid jokes you can squeeze in with so much work to do.

OK, that was what I should have blogged a few days ago, on Saturday but god knows why I didn't publish it. OK. Today is Wednesday, just came back from jujitsu, haven't been going for quite some time. The illness and all the work, haiya, must go more often, really suffering from lack of practice today. The instructor called out the name of a throw and told us to practise it and I was like "Goshi-whaaaat?" to my partner. Other than that, it was pretty OK, the sparring session was quite good because I managed to take them down a couple of times and I can barely remember the last time I threw someone during sparring.

And school is going back to normal again, after that brief little break, everything's coming back again. And I think I have kinda set the image for myself in class. I was seriously doing some work with my group during lunch time and Yoki was "Wah first time see you so serious". Eh I'm a very hardworking and dilligent boy ok? If you disagree, go say it the comments section. Grr.

ANNNDD one thing to be happy about, my Visual Design assignment 2 got "chosen" or something as the best one in class. I would have danced on the spot when the teacher told me that if I knew how to. I wil try to upload it when I have the time (that is, a few months later). OK, definitely cannot think too much about that, there are a lot of new work coming up. VDS, CRS, IDS, HCD, SHT, FCK, DMN, ARG, HLP.

And one more thing, good luck to all my JC friends, the promos are either on the way already or are about to start very soon, study hard ok? Don't get too stressed out.

Talking about stress, Charmian is dealing with some serious stress now, from school and from other sources. Some people in her class sound like really really horrible monsters to work with. I mean, even I get the work done. That fat greasy char kway teow butterboy classmate of hers takes the cake (and cheeseburgers, oreos, char kway teow and swiss mushroom doubles) easily as the nightmare classmate. OK, charmian, don't overwork yourself ok, don't push yourself so hard! Let others do more work, you have done a lot already. OK?

Song of the moment: No time to listen to music but if anyone actually cares, I'm liking Autopilot Off's "I'm Thinking".

The holidays are ending soon, bleh. This week was AWESOME, so fun, so great, just choke-ful of sweet moments with Charmian. We cooked for ourselves a couple of meals, spent so much time on the jigsaw puzzle, even though it didn't turn out very nicely and I'm trying to save it. Ok, so on the second day, we decided to fry some stuff. So we bought fish (again but more expensive one, because it's gonna taste better right?..right?) and luncheon meat. Then I got some squid at home so we put them on the frying pan and "attempted" to cook them. Forgot to dry the pan before frying so oil was splurting here and there, luckily we took cover in the storeroom fast enough. OK not so serious but we fixed it. The end products were as oily as my face (ok it sounds a little gross but at least my facial oil tastes better) But the fish was very tasty, because Charmian was the one who fried it, oh, she's such a wonderful cook and she's so smart and brilliant! What's there that she can't do? Oh how I admire thee for your brilliance! Yeah, seriously, the fish was good, the luncheon meat was....fattening and the squid was...erm...yup, the fish was good. On Thursday we went over to Chinese Garden for the Lantern Festival display, with all the Disney characters. Normally I wouldn't even think about going for these displays but Charmian convinced me that it will be fun. Yup, I enjoyed it but she didn't, ok... Took a lot of pictures, should be putting them online soon. As usual, Charmian looks as cute as anything can possibly be.

Definitely not going to forget this week. And it seems that The Suicide Machines wrote "Perfect Day" just for me.

But something had to happen. Went to school on Friday and my friends thought that it will be a good thing to do to cut my hair. They took close to 3 hours because they slowly layered my hair and I really appreciate the efforts they put in but Charmian wasn't too happy la. Thanks anyway. Hope you guys understand. And sorry to Charmian, shouldn't have gotten something as crazy as this without your consent. Can I stop pulling my ears already?

Hmmm, Charmian and I now have a joint-blog up at http://www.beautypoonandbaoyakoh.blogspot.com/. Right now it's pretty empty, just a few pics of me and my wonderful. Yeah, she's just pure cuteness and I absolutely admire her way of thinking, it's just so different from other people. Yeah, I have heard comments from some of you guys and hah, they don't bother me. She's the special one and I'm the luckiest one on Earth. : )

Spent a great day with her today at my house. We lazed around, watch TV for a while, fed her vanilla-chocolate ice cream with biscuit crumbs then we decided to go out to buy stuff back for cooking. OK, so we bought pork balls, fish, the canned franks (the really tiny ones, er hem, I can almost predict your joke, Joash) and a can of "shark fin" (BAAAD choice). How do we cook it? We just dumped the pork balls and the fish (the bones are VERY irritating) and the franks into boiling water and they didn't taste that bad (except for the bones, again). Also, we cooked two packets of noodles (just noodles, no soup) and stirred them up with ketchup, chilli sauce and chicken stock, wasn't THAT bad considering how budget it actually is. Yeah, pretty OK meal.

Then the can of "shark fin"...let me just say that I learnt the lesson of "If it looks like dishwater, it probably tastes like it too". Urgh, I will stop here about the shark fin, I can almost taste it on my tongue now, ugh.

Yeah, I got a haircut from her too, it looks...AWESOME! Wow, she only cut a little off my "sideburns" and the back but it's more than enough to show her mastery of the scissors. OK, you will see the mad skillz of the Poon when you see my hair.

OK I don't know what to write at the moment. So I will put an offensive joke here to replace this awkward blank.

Q: What do you call an ethiopian family portrait?
A: A barcode

Q: What's the difference between a carrier bag and Michael Jackson?
A: One's made of plastic and dangerous to children, and the other one's for putting your shopping in.

OK, hope I didn't offend anyone, these jokes should all be taken lightly. And even then, unless you're African or Michael Jackson, you shouldn't even be offended. Oh well, some people.

Yup, it has been some time since I've last blogged, a couple of weeks already. Assignments and projects kept pouring in, and I just keep completing them at the last minute. It's kinda embarassing when you're presenting something that is quite obviously last-minute work, but thanks to Charmian, I have developed an incredibly thick layer of skin that would take a lot of punishment before I can feel paiseh.

Hey, you people have to listen to MC Lars, so it's basically white-boy rap...about the indie/emo/yeahwhatever music scene...how cool is that? And the lyrics are nothing short of awesome. He's the FIRST EVER rap artiste I have ever enjoyed, it's a little hard to get some of his mp3s at the moment, but he has an ecard online, just click on "opening ecard" and you get to have a nice little preview of his songs. I recommend iGeneration and Signing Emo. Signing Emo is basically this song where it begins rather typically, rapping and all, but when the chorus hits, guess what it is..an actual emo song, how cool is that? And it fits in well too.

OK, there are more to blog about but I'm tired now, posting more soon.
