It hasn't been that long, erm right?

Anyway, it's the holidays already! 2 whole months! I still have some unfinished assignments and I will get marks deducted but I'm reallly reallly reeaaally reluctant to start on it. Especially this stamp designing one, where illustration has to be done somehow someway and I'm simply wonderful when it comes to stuff that requires my hand directly. Erm that didn't really come out right.

Tommorow the new batch of year 1s will be coming in for an aptitude test and it's going to be really interesting to see how they are like. One guy sent in his portfolio today and my my my, I can safely say that he has the best technical skills when it comes to static design, out of the whole school even. Everything looks professional (A teeny weeny little bit unoriginal but who am i to complain though) and the whole portfolio is even printed on erm...some very good paper, I know nuts about printing. Everyone in class was "WAAaaaaaaaaaaah. WAAAAAAAAH. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" while flipping through the pages. Looking forward to seeing his assignments.

Hey, have you guys seen My Chemical Romance's music video for "Helena" yet? Maybe it's because I haven't been watching MVs for a long time but wow, it was great. The song itself isn't too bad either. The MV is like a modern rock lovechild of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and erm...I don't know...those Hindi movies where everyone dance together even though they have been hating each other to the chapatti for the last 2 hours of the film. The MV is available for viewing at the band's official website, just search a little ok? It's worth the little search, I'm not big on the whole gothic look but I was totally silent and still during the whole video, it was great.

Relient K also has a new video up for viewing here, obviously although not as great as MCR's video but I like the song better, maybe because of the content of the song. They would be sooo big here in Singapore, especially with Christians as they sing a lot about the religion but not in a blatant "BE A CHRISTIAN!" way but in a way that you will relate to it even if it's not your religion. Great band.

Oh yah, went to Johor to shop yesterday, with Joash Ganghao Michelle Jasmine Rina, wasn't the best shopping experience but it was OK, ate quite a bit. The ramen was so good because of the Soup. It's so great that it deserves a capital letter in its name. I love the Soup. So I bought this very nice striped polo tee from Seed for mianmian, slightly vintage-looking that kind, wow, if I had a nice pair of jeans to go with it, I would so buy that for myself. But no la, mianmian more important, hope you like it. The idiot girls in my class were fighting over the shirt k, I ran gallantly to the cashier and asked for another one, then took out the glorious cash from my wallet and paid for it majestically, no questions asked. Valiantly. Can imagine me handing the money over to the cashier while light rays emit from behind me? And I bought for myself..erm, a pair of socks la. That's all for the shopping trip. Wanted to go there to buy stuff for you anyway, sooooo looooong never pamper you already and you're studying so hard nowadays. Don't let it affect your health k.

Why am I talking to her on my blog? BECAUSE IT'S MY BLOG AND I CAN WRITE WHATEVER I WANT TO AND I WANT TO TALK TO MY MIANMIAN! and also because I lost my handphone, can't really SMS her. Ok, strike out the second reason, doesn't sound very valiantly gallantly gloriously majestic of me.
